PARENT INVOLVEMENT

DSCF2049.JPG
Upon registering at Santisouk each parent automatically becomes a member of the Parent Association.

Parents are encouraged to get involved in school activities, for example as a guest for read aloud sessions, by participating in theme-related activities, or in the organization of field trips.

Parent Working Groups are organized every year as a way to coordinate parent led activities and events. Parents are asked to participate in two Parent General Meetings held twice per year.
Board Membership

The board is an elected committee representing all the parents, which oversees the governance of the school. Any parent can be a board member. The board meets every 6-8 weeks, with participation of the School Director. During board meetings, important concerns and policy matters are discussed and approved. The school constitution can be consulted at the administration office.
